Auto on siis yksi 318:sta valmistetuista 1970 vuoden Western Sport Specialeista(1066kpl). Tullut tehtaalta siis pikkulohkolla, nyt 383, 727 ja kasi kolmevarttisella perällä.
Edellinen omistaja puhalsi koko kopan, vaihtoi tekniikan ja hitsasi perus ongelmakohdat kuntoon etc.isompaa puuhastelua.












Auto on nyt ajokuntoinenprojekti(lievä), joka saa vähän uutta väriä päälle, toisen turbiinin, keraamipinnoitetut pakosarjat yms. pientä. Tarkoituksena kuitenkin saada peli ladulle mahdollisimman pian ja suunnitella ihan rauhassa koneen stroukkausta tai auton entisöintiä WSS stuukkiin.

The Western Sport Special was a $199.50 option availible in the order books shortly after the Challenger's launch in August, 1969. It was a regionally-unique option to the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas. It was mostly an apprearance package available on the Challenger Highline (JH23) Models.
The WSS package consisted of a vinyl top, Western Sport Special decals on the rear quarter, a woodgrain applique, rim-blow wheel, sill and belt mouldings, the astrotone applique above the rear taillights, front splash pan scoop, cowl moulding, pedal-dress up kit, bumper guards, a driver's side remote control mirror, and 14" Rallye wheels with F78x14 Polyglas tires. The option code was A91 on the fender tag.
